Mini Pupillage
Mini-pupillage is a short period of work experience with chambers usually lasting one week. It provides an opportunity to meet members of Chambers and to be introduced to the type of work we do as well as to life in Chambers.
Prospective pupils are encouraged to undertake a mini-pupillage at Francis Taylor Building, either in the applicant's second or third year at university, or, for non-law graduates, during the Diploma/ CPE course. Although we consider mini-pupillage to be a useful opportunity to meet prospective pupils, it is not a pre-requisite for their selection.
Applicants for mini-pupillage should submit a covering letter and CV to Cain Ormondroyd by post at Francis Taylor Building or electronically to clerks@ftb.eu.com.
Mini-pupillages will be offered in two periods. Applications for the period January to July are invited in the preceding year, and applications for the period October to December are invited in the period January to March.
The closing date for applications for mini-pupillage in October to December 2010 is Monday 29 March 2010.
