ANDREW TAIT QC APPOINTED AS HEAD OF CHAMBERS 

FTB is delighted to announce that Andrew Tait QC has been appointed as Head of Chambers - he takes over from Robin Purchas QC, who stands down having served as Head of Chambers since 2001.

Robin Purchas said  "I am delighted that Andrew has agreed to take over as Head of Chambers.   It has been a privilege to have served in the post for the past ten years and I look forward with great confidence to Chambers' continuing success under Andrew's leadership." 

Andrew Tait said "Thanks to Robin's vision, energy and skill in leading us for the past ten years, Chambers was able to move to its new premises at Francis Taylor Building  and to grow from 22 members (including 7 silks) to 46 members (18 of whom are silks). Robin has been an outstanding Head of Chambers and we are hugely grateful to him."

Both Robin Purchas and Andrew Tait continue in full time practice from FTB.
