IMPORTANT NEW VILLAGE GREEN DECISION 

Buckinghamshire County Council has recently rejected an application to register as a town/village green a series of fields owned by Pinewood Studios and upon which the Studios wish to extend for its activities. The Inspector's report addresses interesting and important issues concerning the extent to which recreational walking and activities incidental thereto amount to lawful sport and pastimes. The Inspector also considers the interpretation and effect of various of notices, applying the guidance given in the Leeds Group PLC case.
