RICHARD HONEY ELECTED TO CPA COMMITTEE

Richard Honey has been elected as a member of the committee of the Compulsory Purchase Association. 

Richard is a member of the Attorney General's panel of junior counsel to the Crown (C Panel).  He has advised the promoters of orders for the compulsory acquisition of land and represented objecting landowners.  Richard frequently appears in the Lands Tribunal and has been instructed for acquiring authorities in cases relating to the 2012 Olympics, Crossrail, Thameslink 2000 and various road schemes.  Recent reported cases include Clemdell v Dorset CC [2009] RVR 318, Singh v LDA [2010] RVR 41, and Welford v TfL [2010] RVR 200.
