CHAMBERS IS DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THAT CRAIG HOWELL WILLIAMS AND RICHARD GLOVER HAVE BEEN AWARDED SILK
Francis Taylor Building (FTB - the Chambers of Robin Purchas QC) is delighted that two of its members have been selected to take silk.
Craig Howell Williams has been regarded as one of the leading juniors in the field of planning and environment law. He has considerable experience in a wide variety of cases, representing developers and operators, local authorities and third parties at public inquiries into planning proposals and large scale infrastructure schemes. In court Craig has appeared in a number of high profile cases and served on the Treasury Supplementary Panel of Junior Counsel. He is also A CEDR accredited Mediator.
Richard Glover has an outstanding reputation for his planning and compulsory purchase expertise ( including his involvement in steering the compulsory purchase order for the Olympic site through its statutory procedures) and as a specialist in valuation and rating both here and abroad (e.g. for BT on the valuation for rating of their entire network in England and Wales and the subsequent reference to the European Commission and Court of First Instance, recently for the Mormon Church in the House of Lords and several cases in Hong Kong) He is an editor, inter alia, of Ryde on Rating and a CEDR accredited Mediator.
